October; In short

October is where everything went to hell and back.

God, so much paperwork, stress about class registration, mountains of homework even before class had started and a head that kept telling me that I wasn't not good enough to deal with all this. On top of this, a family situation occured that sent me even further down.

I.hated.school. And myself. And (almost) everybody else. I kinda wanted to go home to Norway.
It wasn't a good start..

But. BUT.
This month was also a happy one as well, because this was the month my friend Emilie moved to Tokyo!
*HAPPYING INTENSIFIES*
So we're hanging out quite a lot, which makes me happy!

We went as matching dead/zombie school girls for Halloween, and we went to both the Tokyo Decadance Halloween party, and the less pretentious celebration at Bar Psy a week later! We got a surprising amount of "KAWAIII" comments instead of "omfg what the hell" comments from stranges out in the streets, hehe. Had a lot of fun, but can't wait until next year, when I'll (hopefully) have the time to make my own costume from scratch!

Emilie, me and randoms at Bar Psys Halloween celebration... yeah.
I played a lot of Skyrim
I played a lot of Pokemon, and ate Mos Burger frequently (I still do)
I also started drawing again!

So even though it started out as a bumpy ride, it has become better. A lot better, actually! I have plans, very vague plans nontheless, about posting a bit about a class I'm taking this semester. It's a traditional culture class, where we practice different Japanese traditional culture. It's very entertaining, and I learn a lot. It would be fun to blog about what I've learned!

November so far is good, halfway through, and it'S ALMOST CHRISTMAS LSKVHFL UEONGDJL
[Internal screaming]

September; In short.

September was really fun, but turned out kinda expensive... haha.

My friend Connie from Norway came to Tokyo in September~!

Things we did:

Partying

Purikura

Shopping

Eating

Karaoke

And that's about it. For several times a week, for four weeks.

I didn't go far beyond my monthly budget.... until.... my MacBook Air died. After just 6 months of use, it decided to leave this world. It was a hand-me-down computer though, and it had a lot of overheating problems, so I guess it didn't really come as a shock. Anyway, I needed a new computer, and that fast. The Mac died just four days before the fall semester started, so I panicked a bit. I ended up buying a HP laptop computer, that also could run Skyrim. I've been wanting a proper computer that I've bought with my own money for a long time, so I guess this was it! I've always had hand-me-downs that were ready to lay down and die..So it feels good, man. Unfortunately, I did have files on my Mac that I didn't back up, so there are some videos, pictures or documents I'll never see again.

This is my new baby:
♥♥

We also went to FujiQ Highland! IT.WAS.AWESOME.
Aaaah this was the third time I've been there, and I managed to get on several rides, in all 10 times! Supah nice.

View of mt. Fuji from train.

Takabisha, meaning High flying car. Quite fitting.

In line for the crazy Eejanaika
...illuminated Christmas tree in September? Japan.

So yeah. September was really eventful, which is the reason (I guess) why I have neglected my blog completely.

BUT I'M STILL HERE LOL
Uni is super busy as usual, but it's just recently that i started getting used to it again, so now I have more time for hobbies and blogging!

Have a nice weekend everybody!

Tokyo Decadance: Versailles! 15.06.2013

Sandra and I went to Christon Café in Shinjuku, to attend Tokyo Decadances Versailles-themed party!

In short: IT WAS AWESOME.

I'd been looking forward to this for such a long time, and was worried that nobody would want to come with me.. but luckily, Sandra was game, and we went!
It was my first time going to Tokyo Decandance, so I was quite nervous, and very excited for what I was about to experience. I had been planning my outfit for some time, and for a first try on the Versailles style, I think I did pretty well!

My outfit for the night:
Trying to find a map to Christon Cafe
At the station!
Dress: Innocent World
Shoes: H&M
Corset: Vollers

When we arrived at Christon, after a small hunt in the rain for a working ATM,  we were greeted by FABULOUS people by the elevator, and was escorted up to the party on the 9th floor. The music was pounding, in the electro/house genre. It's the same as in almost every club around the world; they have different DJ's throughout the night that specialize in different genres. Funny thing, the most mainstream DJ played first, and the obscure ones for last.. x)

The program was filled with goodies, we saw a tehcno opera performance (lol), striptease, concert with Velvet Eden, suspension show and other stuff. It was awesome!

Opera guy getting at it. Check out those New Rocks :)
I also met other lolitas, also from Livejournals egl community! They recognized my face, and we hung out for the night ^^ I got the feeling of nostalgia, thinking of my younger years with lolita fashion, hehe.
Lolitas :D
More lolitas! ^^
When it looked like some show was about to start, people were gathering around, while Decadance staff handed out roses to the partygoers form the stage. Suddenly, one of the staff pulled me and other girls up on the stage! I was like "WTF lol what is happening??" and us girls on stage started dancing. After some time, I felt tired, and I wanted to drink more, so I got Sandra to help me off the stage XD

Stage pic :)
People at the door :)
After some hours of drinking and dancing, the staff started to prepare for the suspension show. And boy, I haven't seen anything like it. I've seen suspension show before, where they hang people high under the ceiling, sometimes pushing the back and forth, but this was sooo violent haha XD
I have a picture, but if you have the stomach for it, you could watch the video ;) (Small warning: Sound is shit, just so you know.)

Whatcha doin', rose guy?
Dunno, jus' hangin' around..

When it started getting late/early, Sandra and I thought it was best to go home, we were sooo tired! I think I got home around 6 or something, almost passed out of exhaustion! All in all, it was an amazing night with lots of awesome people!

The next Tokyo Decadance special party is July 20th, with an 80's theme! I'm going of course, and I've already started planning my outfit :)
If you're in Tokyo that night, stop by the Trump Room for a good 80's party! :)

My birthday party! 11.06.2013

Hello everybody!

Thought I'd share what I did on my birthday with you guys. This was my *whispers*25th*whispers* birthday, so I wanted to celebrate a bit! I don't think I ever really expected to celebrate me *whispers*25th*whispers* birthday in Japan, I always thought I'd celebrate it in Norway, with a rented venue with all my friends and family.. Oh well, I'll do that for my 30th or something ;)

I had a really good time! Since I don't have class on Tuesdays, I went to Harajuku by myself to do a bit of shopping. I have to remind myself never to shop by myself every again. So tempting to buy everything, haha! But since it was my birthday, I allowed myself to splurge just a little bit!

I bought a JSG hoodie with skeleton print, Listen Flavour White T-shirt, Vivienne Westwood one-shouldered purple jumper (Second hand), among other things : ) I forgot to take a picture of all the stuff, so maybe another time :)
I was also wearing my new AN*TEN*NA rocking horse boots, so at the end of the day my feet were almost crying! Haha.

Later that day, me and some friends from uni when to a wonderful place on earth called Sweets Paradise. Basically, you buy a ticket, get seated, and then you can eat as much food and cake as you want for 70~~90 minutes. And I just have to say, the cake selection is amazing!! Soooo tasty, haha.

Half-eaten cake. Yummy!

Also, Sweets Paradise has this birthday package, which was amazing(ly awkward) haha XD
They started playing a VERY cheesy version of "Happy Birthday" over the speakers in the restaurant, staff came over to our table while ringing bells, and singing the song. A lot of the other guests started singing as well, and everybody applauded after. Sooo touching and kind of awkward XD

They also gave me a piece of cake, freebies and a picture with me and all of my guests! I have it hanging on my wall now :) I feel so lucky to have such a cool gang to hang out with, wether it's in school or otherwise! I actually got quite a bit of birthday gifts as well, I didn't expect that! Haha, sounds weird, but I actually didn't because "I'm so old" now :P

Look at my loot!
Luvz it!
After Sweets Paradise I didn't really have any plans, but I thought it would be a great idea having a couple of drinks to relax after a long day. Half of the guests went home (Tokyo life is busy ;)), and a few of us went to out drinking! As time passed, one by one people went home, and finally I went home as well. It's a miracle I was able to get up and go to school, do a test and have a drama presentation! *kind of proud*

So all in all I had a great time, hopefully next year and the next ones will be just as awesome!

Party time! 30.03.2012

On Friday the 29th I didn't do anything special, just more and more orientations, and went to bed after watching RuPauls Drag race...

Me @ campus!

But on Saturday we went partying in Kabukichô! Me, Sandra and Thomas went out to eat at Saizeriya (since it's so cheap lol) close to the dorm, and then proceeded to a karaoke bar in Kabukichô. We ordered a room for 2 hours with all-you-can-drink, all in all 3500 yen. I think that's not half bad! And they don't really hold back on the liquor in the coctails as well, haha. Had to be careful with that one, being a Norwegian and all ;)

Thomas

Sandra and me!

Me at a karaokebar.. I filmed some of our singing action, buuuut... Yeah, we're not very good at singing while intoxicated, haha!

So after Sandra went home and me and Thomas were done singing, we went to Bar PSY! We couldn't find the place at first, so we had to ask someone. And believe me, people are sooo nice here! We went up to these guys and girls who were kinda cool-looking, and they helped us take us there personally! They couldn't find it on their phones, so they just took us there in person. Super nice of them :) The girl I talked to looked so cool, she wore a white mini dress, denim studded jacket, ancle socks and a huge cap. Her hair were in ponytails, and her make up was pretty gyaru inspired. I should've taken a picture! :P

Now, there was a reason why I wanted to come to this Bar PSY in the first place. Three years ago, when I last visited Tokyo, Veronica, Emilie, Oda and me visited a rock bar named Rock in Current, and we had suuuuch a great time there! But last year, the club closed down, I was so sad! But I also heard that a new bar had opened with pretty much the same staff and clientele, so I figured I could go there to meet up with people ^^ It was so much fun! It was good seeing Emma, Masami and everyone else again :D

Emma and me ^^

Thomas and Mayumi

Cash, drinks and smokes, all we need ;)

Masami! The most decent photo I've seen of him so far :P

Thomas, Adam and me.

Now this guy Adam, he was/is in Tokyo for his brothers wedding, and he was at this bar all alone! So we took him along, he was really nice. We wanted to go dancing, and we ended up in this almost-empty club with okay music and poledancers. Fine by me!

White people... XD

Poledancers:
Now, I tried to take some pictures of them, but the lighting was all wrong and I was drunk. Excuses, excuses XD I filmed them as well, but my computer won't upload it, for some reason.. poop! I got it! Here's the video:

They were so strong and flexible though! And their outfits were sooo cute, with flowers and all ^^

Yeah.. the photos weren't the greatest x)

After some dancing and some more drinking, this nice chinese man helped us get back to shinjuku station (kabukichô  is bloody confusing), and I think I was in bed around 6am.. Phew! But I had such a good time, can't wait to go out in Shinjuku again :) On Sunday we were supposed to go to Harajuku, and go hanami at Ueno park, but... the hours flew and we were so tired from the night before, so we just ate and went home again x)

Last week in Norway

Warning!
Heavy blog spamming incoming the next days, I have to catch up on and post everything that've happened! Originally I wanted to make videos of my trip, like vlogging, but I realized I have nooooo idea how iMovie works! Haha, so for now I'll just post pictures and individual videos. Hope that's okay!

The farewell-parties I had the week before I left was sooo nice, it was nice seeing my family and friends once again before fleeing the country, heh. I hope a lot of my friends can come visit me here in Tokyo, I'll be able to show them great places, restaurants and shops ^^

So I also had to spend my last weekend in Norway at my friend Pernilles house in Oslo, and I had a great time! The 8,5hour bus trip down to Oslo was a nightmare though, the bus was PACKED because of easter holiday, and I wasn't really able to get any sleep..
When I arrived at Pernilles apartment on Friday morning we just chilled a bit. I got my passport with my student visa from the embassy while she was at work, and on Saturday I dyed my hair and fixed her sewing machines, and she cut my hair and gave it lots of healthy treatments :3

At the hair salon ^^

Later that Saturday we went to Marias birthday party, it was so much fun! I haven't seen her in such a long time, it was nice seeing her again. We ended up not going out at all, we just sat in the living room drinking, talking and just had a good time :D

Me and the beautiful Camilla

I don't really have that many photos from that night, not good ones anyway haha.
On Monday 25th of March I got up, and made my last "Norwegian" breakfast! It consisted of sausage and a glass of milk... hahahah, healthy!

.....yummy!

So now as I've started my blog marathon (lol), I'm all pepped up for doing it all in one go! Let's see how it goes, haha.
