Blondie on TV??

I've been forgetting this blog. I'm sorry!!

I am blogging every week, but I tend to forget that that's the blog for my blogging class, and not my personal one. LOL.

SO.

Hi.

This has happened these two last weeks.

I went to Shimokitazawa with Sandra, to do some light light light shopping! (I needed a wallet)

Kaiten Sushi! As you can see, I ate quite a lot. And it was quite delicious!
We walked past a bar/restaurant/something with these gorgeous vintage adverts. They were really cute!
Train crossing
Starting to get dark...
Shop front with a gorgeous dress on display
Cute art :D
I FINALLY FOUND A PERFECT WALLET! No more loose coins everywhere!

Also, I had an appointment at a japanese hair salon. SCARY, right?

Okay, the staff spoke English and they both had experience with nordic hair. So it wasn't that scary! I haven't been to a hairdresser I didn't know personally since I was in elementary, but that's a whole other story.
The salon is called Dude, and is the most chill salon I've been to. Not a regular high-tech modern salon for young noisy people, but a salon with a quieter, a more relaxed atmosphere. They also had really cute paintings one the wall that I could stare at while i got my hair rinsed, and actually up-to-date fashion magazines.
I grew tired of my washed out purple colour in thousand shades of ugly, so I wanted to become platinum blonde! It was quite the challenge, really.
I reacted to the bleach, even though he used only a 6% solution! I was really bummed about that, so my roots only were lifted to a brass colour before we had to rinse it out. I became red, and my whole body started itching. I'm just glad I didn't have to go to the hospital, and I'm glad the Dude was understanding and booked me another appointment :)

So we continued the treatment 2 days after at 10am in the morning, with toning and the cut.
Why so early?

Because, that Sunday was the day of my TV-interview with Nihon Terebi! So I didn't want to have the ugly purple hair when I went on television hahaha

After I was done with getting my hairdo finished, I went straight to Ginza, but for looking around and for getting to know the area so I wouldn't get lost. I tend to do that if I have to be somewhere.
The thing is, walking around in such an expensive part of Tokyo as Ginza, while you're broke... It's boring as HELL. *sigh* And even if I had money that day, I wouldn't throw it away on something stupid like overpriced brand goods, when I could spend it on food :)

My interview outfit. They said I had to wear my Kumamon skirt, haha :D
Top: Milk
Skirt: Handmade
Socks: Metamorphose
Shoes: H&M
Necklace: D&G
Me looking strange.
AAAAAH SO FUCKING NERVOUS
So yeah, that was the most horrible thing in my whole life, and at the same time bloddy awesome. We talked a bit on e-mail the weeks before the shooting day, they asked me different questions, I gave them answers, bla bla bla. Regular preparations.

BUT

When the interview started my tongue turned into moosh, and the interviewer suddenly spoke in a language I didn't know anything about. It's so easy to say that one is able to speak japanese after learning for two years outside Japan, but.. No, that's not it. Talking to actual people in actual situations is fucking hard. The interviewer asked new questions, even though I asked beforehand that he wouldn't because my Japanese is still not that great. So that was kind of a bummer. I'm not sure if my interview actually will air, because there was a loooot of foreign people being interviewed, so maybe they'll just pick the 5 best or something.

Nonethless, it was a fun experience! And if I'll be on TV, I'll be able to say that I've been on Japanese television! Speaking (bad) Japanese! One of my bucket list things crossed out :)

So if you have an interest in me possibly making an ass of myself on Japanese national television, tune in 8th of June, on Nihon Terebi (Channel 4) for the program ズームイン!!サタデー (Zoom in!! Saturday) from 10:30!

*:--☆--:*:--☆:*:--☆--:*:--☆--:*

ALSO: Is anybody interested in me vlogging? I kind of want to do it, but I feel weird talking to a camera. Seriously how do people do it? What will I talk about? Am I going to be funny? Am I going to be personal? What??? Aaaah haha I'm so bad at this internet stuff.

May 17th, Norways constitution day

Hi pretties!

Last Friday was Norways constitution day, which kind of is a big thing.

And since it's kind of a big thing, I was pretty much miserable being here in Tokyo, and not in Norway with my family, getting sober from the night before, with grandmas delicious food.

But this year...:

授業!I had class!
Yep, I was at school. Of course! So I didn't want to dress up as I usually would. I usually wear my Innocent World rose print dress, because it's kind of similar to the Norwegian national costume, the Bunad :)

This picture is from 3 years ago(?), back when I had black hair :)
JSK: Innocent World
Blouse: Baby, the stars shine bright
Shoes: Bodyline
Hair accessory: Moi meme Moitie
This year, I went with a black simple dress and polkadot tights.

Dress, shoes, bag: H&M
Tights: Random store
Necklace: D&G
When I got home from school I just went to bed, because I was so down. I didn't want that day to exsist unless I was back home with my family. I played a lot of My Little Pony on my Samsung Galaxy to forget the world for some time.

But....! My friend Natasha invited me to her and her fiancés place to drink a bit and watch the live broadcast from Norways equivalent to NHK, called fittingly NRK. So I threw off my black dress and put on some more fitting colours... Red, white and blue!
Norwegian flag themed outfit, yeeeah.
I didn't have much to wear, so I put on blue jean high waist shorts, white tights and a red knit sweater :)

Ribbon, sweater: Second hand
Shorts: Vero Moda
Socks: Metamorphose
Shoes: H&M
This was my face, yo. (I need to go to a hair salon ASAP!)
So then I went to Natasha and Allys place, and had a great time! It was so nice to be able to speak in Norwegian on that very day :')

Nice and relaxed in front of the big screen, with strawberries and bubbly :)
Me and Natasha, celebrating with Japanese beer ;P
Thanks to Natasha, Ally and Natashas mom I got to have some form of celebration, at least :') I'm very thankful for that! And it was very nice, we went to the local bar after the live broadcast, and had some more to drink. Talked to some nice Japanese people as well. Took a cab home, a bit more expensive than I thought it'd be since Japanese taxi drivers don't really use GPS and the address system in Japan is a mess... So I tried to explain in Japanese to the driver where he should drive, but I don't think he understood me that well. (Let's just say I had a few drinks) So ended up going kind of zig zag to my final destination; Home.

I just threw everything I had on on the floor and collapsed in my bed, but at least I remembered to remove my make up!! ^^ They day after was filled with hnnnnnnggggghhhh and GAH, but I felt better throughout the day, and went to the supermarket and bought FOOD!

So today I made Japanese curry with those packets of ready-made sauce, you know? But, it didn't really taste like curry, because it was sooo mild, and it didn't have the distinct Japanese curry flavour to it.. It actually tasted like Lapskaus! It's a Norwegian dish, fittingly often served on May 17th, so this really reminded me of home :) Definitely bying that again! 懐かしい!

Shibuya, Harajuku and campus hospital (This month in pictures)

I've been struggling with this cold for almost a month now, so I haven't had the energy to really blog properly, sorry about that! m(_ _)m

This post will be mostly pictures, I guess.. Even though I don't have school this week because of Golden Week, the teachers have been so kind to give us lots of homework x) So I don't have time to really write much!
Don't know what Golden week is?
Neither do I, I just know that it's a national holiday around april/may, and lasts for one week. I like it, just because there's no class. Yeeeaaah. Seems like a lot of Japanese people go overseas for Golden Week, or at least to Okinawa. I wanna go to Okinawa one day!

Anyway, here are some pictures from the last month!

Shibuya (05.04.2013)

 Aaaah, dangerous!

 おいしかったケーキで~す。

My loot!
White ripped up jeggings, lots of socks and tights and the well-known Tutuha plastic cross necklace :)

Nights out:

Karaoke with Thomas :)

I love singing Ponponpon at karaoke bars, it's so quick and fun to sing!

Clubbing in Akihabara with Thomas, Sandra and Xenia:

This is actually the restroom art at a club in Akihabara called Mogra... Sooo sick!

One of the guest DJ's. Apparently she's an idol ^^

This guy was sleeping on the same chair the whole time we were there! And that was like... for 5 hours, with UNTZ UNTZ UNTZ around him Haha.

Harajuku:

Outfit:
Jacket: Adidas
T-shirt: Gina Tricot
Jeggings: Spiga

 Takeshita dori, sooooo crowded +__+

 Lame

My Japanese phone, with my new strap from SBY, and two hair clips from Swimmer

Skirt from Listen Flavour, socks from Metamorphose and socks from a random store I can't remember. MELTING SOCKS. They are awesome.

Fancy welcome reception with free food:

Aaaaaaah dat food.
It was held at a hotel that's actually on campus, it was SO FANCY OMG. There weren't any bloody chairs though, so we had to stand through the whole thing, through the dinner as well! It was so uncomfortable standing with back half-bend eating, I felt so stressed while I was eating! So... I sat down on the floor. I'm so classy, haha.

 Huuuge Chandeliers!

Delicious food! That pasta dish.. aaaaaaah ♥

Good-bye party:

The last week hasn't been all happy-go-lucky, at least for me..
One day Thomas said to me "I want to home, back to Norway. I don't want to be here anymore."
And with a lot of arguing and stubbornness with the Waseda and dorm administration, Thomas left two days later. It's so sad that he wanted to go home, and that he didn't like it here.. But I guess he's happier now that he's back in Norway with his gf again!

So to say good-bye we had a last dinner out, at the classy Saizeriya, hehe. It was a fun night, but I was really sad the days after.. I felt so alone! I guess I still do, but.. I'm adjusting, little by little!

Cuties Sandra and Xenia!

Thomas, me and our wine baby. I'ts a 1,5l bottle. HUGE. And it's only 1050yen. Crazy.

He can rock any glasses :)

The next day, Thomas left. And I went to school, a bit hungover and still sick from the cold. I managed to take the vocab test, and then I had to puke.. So I was sent to the campus hospital! It was quite and odd experience, since we don't really have functional nurse offices at my home uni.. I was taken so good care of! I was so sad because of Thomas leaving as well, so I was absolutely exhausted..

They almost commanded me to go to bed and rest, and I thank them for that! They were really nice, the doctor and the nurses. I was there for about five or six hours, they helped me getting the right medicine, and with the National health insurance the whole thing cost me about 2400, included medicine! Awesome.

Selfie. Because bear ears. Rawr.

2 days ago I went by myself to Nippori, the "Textile Town" of Tokyo!
It was... haha, amazing to put it simply! At first I thought there was like one small street with 10 shops or so.. Oh boy, I was wrong! I spent around 10000yen on fabric and stuff. I had to really hold myself back, shopping fabric by myself is a real challenge! I tend to splurge, and never making anything out of the stuff I've bought.

LOOK. I bought Kumamon fabric! Why? For the glory of Satan, of course!
Yes.

My small goods:) Zippers, measuring band, buttons, big buttons, etc etc

My little DIY drawer :)

When I got home I started making something out of the kumamon fabric right away! And since I don't have access to a sewing machine yet, I did it all by hand. Took me around 9 hours in all, with overlocking all the seams. Just because it's handmade doesn't necessarily mean it's not sturdy ;)

クマモンです!
「どうして?もちろんサタンの栄光のため!」

So that's what I've been up to for the last month, in addition to lectures. Phew!
I'm sorry for the boring post, I promise to try to be a good blogger!

Have a nice

Outfit post

I decided I wanted to post outfits here, it probably won't posted that often though!

White top, Skirt: Punkyfish
Black top, Boots: Linosug
Socks: H&M
Jacket: Adidas

I've come home to Melhus now, to my dads house :) It's soooo good to be back, and so strange to think I'll probably never move back to Bergen ever again... So weird! My dad came on Friday, we loaded up the car. It was seriously more packed than Tokyo during rush hour, lol. Then we went to Steakers to eat! Mmmmh, tenderloin with mushroom stew and bearnaise sauce. ♥ A real good meal before a long drive the day after. We're going to have the family come over for a small gathering before I leave, and on Tuesday the same thing, but with my Trondheim-located friends :) My dad and me made some cakes and other preperations for tomorrow, with a glass of wine ^-^ It will be nice, I'm sure of it!
